Minimizing problem from another standpoint

Postby mortee » Fri Jul 23, 2004 10:43 am

I just saw in a recent post that the behaviour of SE activating the next window after minimizing one to the system tray was intentional.

The irritating thing about this is that it also restores (un-minimizes) a window, if there's no more non-minimized apps (or maybe even if there are, but the "next" is a minimized window). This is not a supposed behaviour, so I'd recommend SE to check if that next window is minimized, and if so, do not activate it.

Thanks.

Of course, this is a bug and I will fix this, as I did say in that thread you are mentioning ;)

Anyway, what's a broad estimate for an upcoming release, with fixes to at least some of the issues mentioned so far?

The earliest possible date for the next release is somewhere half august, because I'm having bandwidth problems and I just have to spread the release to keep bandwidth cost under control.
