Task manager does not show in systray

Postby molitar » Sat Sep 09, 2006 11:29 pm

Well when wallpaper is running the task manager will not show in system tray. What lousy problems with this software.. storing the wallpaper in temp directory so software like CCleaner deletes it. Dumb real dumb store temporary files in it's own temp directory quit taking shortcuts. Secondly I have never seen any other software that affects system tray icons while running but this one. That needs fixed majorly.

I'm pretty sure it's not related to Wallpaper Cycler, since it doesn't do anything with the icons in the system tray and on all my systems, I have never experienced the issue you are having.
Maybe it's an interference with another program running in the background?

Nope if I shut down Wallpaper Cycler than I can open up taskmanager and get the icon everytime. That is currently the only way I can do it.. Shutdown cycler.. start taskmanager.. than restart cycler.

Strange, I'm running Windows XP SP2 myself...
I just can't find a cause of this problem since Wallpaper Cycler does nothing with the icons in the system tray.

Are you using the standard Windows Shell or are you using some third party shell like litestep?
